Turkish citizens and foreign nationals entering Türkiye with foreign-registered vehicles often do so without being aware of the permitted stay duration for their vehicles. When entering with a foreign passport (excluding residence permits), those who exceed the legal limit have facedhardships, as they previously could not access stay duration info or submitletters of undertakingvia e-Government (e-Devlet).

To prevent these issues, a new service titled "Foreign-Registered Vehicle Transactions" was launched on March 23, 2026. This service is accessible via the "e-transactions" (e-işlemler) tab on the Ministry of Trade’s website (https://ypti.ticaret.gov.tr). The service is also available in English. By providing contact details and a verified email address, users can view their vehicle’s permitted stay duration and other details. Furthermore, reminder emails are sent to help users avoidoverstaying and potential penalties.

Through this service, users can access official announcements, the "Vehicle Pre-Declaration Application," "FAQs," the "Vehicle Guide," and payment portals for traffic fines, tolls, and bridge/tunnel fees. Additionally,undertaking (commitment) procedurescan now be completed directly through this platform.
